Open enrollment is your opportunity to make benefit changes for the upcoming year.
This is your annual event to review the numerous benefits available to you. You can make changes to medical, dental, vision, and flexible savings account.
Once you enroll in benefits, you will not be able to make any changes to your elections until the next annual open enrollment period, unless you experience a qualified life event, such as marriage, having a baby, or losing other coverage. It is your responsibility to notify the Human Resources within 30 days of a qualified life event. Any benefit changes must be directly related to the qualified life event. During this time you are able to make changes to the plans you are enrolled in and you can add or delete family members to your plans.
If your qualified life event is due to the loss or gain of eligibility for Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), then you have 60 days to notify the benefits team of the benefit changes you wish to make.
This year open enrollment will begin on August 1st, 2021 and will end on August 20th, 2021. Elections made during open enrollment will be effective September 1st, 2021.
