This Research Review E-Learning Module is intended for pharmacists. It discusses vaccine misinformation and how it can undermine vaccine confidence and lead to vaccine hesitancy. Evidence-based strategies for countering vaccine hesitancy and misinformation are summarised. It is based on a Research Review Educational Series publication entitled “Countering Vaccine Misinformation: A Practical Guide for Healthcare Providers”.

This E-Learning Module covers:

Expert commentary is provided by:
Associate Professor Helen Petousis-Harris, who has a PhD in Vaccinology and is particularly interested in factors associated with vaccine safety and reactogenicity.
Dr Amy Chan, a clinical pharmacist academic with specific research expertise in understanding factors that influence medicine-related behaviours.
Module questions have been developed by Dr Chris Tofield, who works in primary care skin cancer treatment, is clinical advisor at Bay of Plenty District Health Board, and consultant to Research Review.
