Introduction to Habilitation

As defined by the State of Nebraska, 205 NAC 1 001.28 Habilitation.

Habilitation means the process through which a person receiving services is assisted in acquisition and maintenance of life skills that increase independence, interdependence, productivity, and provide opportunities to participate in the community environment.
