At Job and Jeroen’s company, a software engineer was dedicated to starting the development of what would eventually become Easy LMS.

An online quiz creator for building multiple-choice quizzes, powered by an addictive algorithm.
We welcome our 1st clients
De Telegraaf and Knab, a leading Dutch newspaper and bank, signed up!
2014
Our second and third major launches
To reach a wider audience, we added an online exam builder and assessment tool, complete with the ability to issue certificates.
2015
We became a full LMS
Testing knowledge? Check. Delivering knowledge? Not yet. To help trainers manage the entire learning cycle from one central platform, we introduced an online course builder.
2016
A design overhaul
To deliver the best learning experience and ensure optimal results, we made our interface completely distraction-free for learners.
Additional languages
We made our LMS and website available in multiple languages to ensure that as many people as possible could benefit from an affordable, high-quality tool.
2017
Another big launch
We launched an academy that combines all previous features. A central portal for managing the learning material and assigning it to groups of learners.
More developers needed
The product was growing and evolving, so more development capacity was needed. At Job and Jeroen's web design agency, more and more people were dedicated solely to working on Easy LMS.
2018
#1 target audience shift
We shifted our focus to employee training only, aiming to create an even more effective tool with features that truly matter.
#1 award win
We earned our first Capterra award for best online exam software. Many more followed!
Fully GDPR-compliant
Data privacy has always been a priority, and after the GDPR was introduced in 2018, we worked hard to become fully compliant.
2019
Focus on accessibility
We wanted everyone to be able to use our LMS regardless of their background, location, circumstance, or condition. So we followed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
2020
Self-support in your own language
While our LMS and website were multilingual, the help center — where you can find step-by-step instructions on how to use the product — wasn’t. We fixed that using the power of machine translation.
Easy LMS stands on its own
Originally, Insyde developed Easy LMS, but as the company and product grew, the two started to clash. Insyde was eventually phased out, allowing us to focus full-time on Easy LMS.

Makeover time
Our course and exam builder needed a refresh to meet the latest standards.

#2 target audience shift
Through research, we discovered that trainers and consultants (mainly serving SMEs) were our primary users, so we made them our focus.
Breakthrough feature: multiple academies
New target audience, new feature. Trainers can now create as many academies as they need within our tool, training multiple clients simultaneously — without extra time or cost.
2024
ISO certified
After months of hard work, we earned our ISO 27001 certification. This demonstrates our commitment to maintaining the highest standards for data availability, integrity, and confidentiality. Your data is safe with us.
