Application procedure summer internship

Here's how our application procedure works, broken down into six simple steps:

1. You start by sending us your resume and cover letter.*

In your cover letter, we'd love to hear about what fuels your passion for programming. Feel free to share any programming experiences from hobbies or academic projects. And, of course, we're curious about what draws you to our company!

2. In April, we sift through applications and select the top candidates based on their resumes and cover letters.*

We consider your educational background, experience, and what motivates you. We're particularly interested in your curiosity and enthusiasm. Skills can be honed, but having a solid foundation is key!

3. If selected, we'll invite you for an introductory interview at our office.*

This casual chat will be with HR Assistant Caroline and CEO Jeroen. We're a tight-knit team, so having our CEO involved is just our way of getting to know you better. Don't worry; it’s nothing intimidating; we like to put a face to the name.

4. Next up is our selection day, held at our office.

During this day, we'll assess your programming skills with a small task (don't sweat it, you've got this!), and you'll get a chance to chat with our CTO and some of our programmers. It's also a great opportunity for you to get a feel for our company culture in a relaxed setting.

All candidates for the summer internship will be invited to join us for a jam-packed day:

  • Office tour
  • Casual lunch together
  • Assessment activity and discussion
  • Q&A session with our CTO
  • Shadowing our programmers

In total, the selection day usually takes about half a day. We'll work together to find a date that suits everyone, so stay tuned for updates. We're thinking sometime in April.

5. If everything goes well, we'll present you with a contract proposal.

You'll receive an internship contract along with a competitive compensation package. And hey, if you decide to stick around after your internship, we'll offer you a zero-hour contract.

6. Welcome to Easy LMS!

Once the contract is signed, it's time to celebrate! We'll roll out the red carpet and welcome you with open arms, complete with a welcome drink.
